In my head canon, all origins survived. Here it is Mahariel who gives his sword to Tabris so that Tabris can go and rescue the women. Older version - newer version. 

Two suggestions of my Inquisitor - in finery and in dalish clothes. Haven't decided yet if she should have white or brown hair. Second pic is Duran Aeducan, exiled to wander the Deep Roads. Since prisoners punished with this is intended to die, I don't really think the dwarves waste too much resources on them. Thus, Aeducan is only given a knife, a lantern and a tunic.
